Hi!  My name is Suzy...aka Suzy Q, wife, mom of 6, grandma, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend. ;) This blog is my way of endorsing love, respect, and "world peace"...along with silliness and my occasional "make no sense" sense of personality.  Yep, I'm a goofball and proud of it!  I love to laugh and be silly. I think it is really important to still feel like a kid sometimes... and yes, I still run and jump on the shopping cart to my car :)

My family and friends are awesome and I couldn't ask for anything else. I love family events. Being w/ the family is very important. Plus, there is always lots of food! :D Being born in the late 70's into a family of musical entertainers, my mainstream music likes are 80's, modern pop, big band, and jazz.  I have been singing since I was 10 and am a self taught guitar and piano player...which I'm still majorly learning. My favorite all time movie is The Princess Bride along side of The Count of Monte Cristo.   

I started my own home based business in 2014 where I mostly sell my paintings, crafts, and apparel on Etsy.  Outside of the home I am an art instructor at a local paint and sip studio here in the Bay Area of California with some pretty amazing co-workers and a fantastic boss. 

This blog is my way of being able to share some neat ideas that I think of or come across to help others.
